The context
I released on drupal.org a module that interfaces with the Apidae Tourisme service (formerly SITRA), a French tourism information network.
This module creates a "Tourist object" content type and synchronises one or more selections made in the Apidae back office, with multilingual support.
The synchronisation runs on cron, and basic fields are retrieved and saved in Tourist object nodes.
An example module shows how to use two Drupal Events to retrieve additional fields that are not fetched by default.
The module is available for free on drupal.org: https://www.drupal.org/project/apidae_tourisme, and is compatible with Drupal 8 and Drupal 9.
It is installed through Composer with the command composer require drupal/apidae_tourisme.
